MadeByShape acquires Forte Trinity goodwill

How long does it take to build a website Square

A warm welcome

đź‘‹   Hello, I'm Andy, Co-Founder of MadeByShape and I'd like to give you a warm welcome to the MadeByShape team. We're a team of 17 spanning across Branding, Web Design, Web Development, SEO and Content Writing.

All clients have now been switched across to MadeByShape, from Forte Trinity.

A team of experts in our field, who are a nice bunch of people - wanting to work with a nice bunch of clients. We're small, humble and love what we do. We understand the benefits of working with a small agency, and although we're larger than Forte Trinity, we never want to be a huge outfit and here are the reasons why we don't want to have 50+ staff.

We setup the studio in 2010 to be a boutique agency that can cater for a range of clients, in different sectors. And we still hold the same ethos now. You can read more about Our Culture and Values if you have a few minutes spare.

The switch from Forte Trinity to MadeByShape will include some changes to the workflow which we have highlighted in this article.

Working with MadeByShape

We have a studio in Atherton (not too far from the Forte Trinity office) but there are some points to highlight just for your understanding:

  1. The Office - Our staff all work from home and schedule in when they work from the office.

  2. Phone calls - Unfortunately we don't take phone calls like Forte Trinity, instead - we actively monitor an email address for your communication which is support@madebyshape.co.uk but don't worry, we can ring you back if you prefer to chat

  3. Calendar - We organise our diary and support our team so that nobody is overloaded with work.

Don’t worry, we will look after you and be here to help as much or as little as you need.

Your current SLA

We will be reviewing all existing service level agreements and contracts to understand what you are paying for, and what level of service you are expecting in return.

We understand that some clients have a website they are happy with, and just want to renew the hosting each year - and make sure the site doesn't break. Whereas, on the other hand, there are clients that continually want to evolve and improve the website. At Shape, we have a service Shape Support that we think will really help you.

In short, Shape Support allows you to book in time each month for us to continually improve and look after your site. You can use any of our services excluding SEO, which is all part of a separate contract.

The options you have from here

We have transferred all Forte Trinity clients into our software and you will receive your renewal invoices on the correct dates as per current agreements with Forte Trinity.

One of our Account Managers will be in touch to suggest next best steps and improvements for each client individually over the coming months. There's also the opportunity to jump on a zoom call to discuss your current business, introduce MadeByShape, to discuss if there are any pain points and how we could support your business in the future. Please note, we are inheriting 110 new clients, so if we do need to schedule any of these meetings into the diary, there may be a little waiting list for these.

OK so, from the below options - which one are you?

You're happy and don't want anything to change

For any client who has a Wordpress website, this is not a problem. As a base rule, if you'd just like to keep your site as it is, looked after in terms of updates and security - with hosting, that's not a problem. We can just continue your service as it is now.

Unfortunately for any client not using Wordpress, we may not be able to manage this moving forward in terms of maintenance. We are happy to keep your site as it is and renew the hosting, but we don't support these technologies and may not be able to provide support and maintenance for changes of the site. The options here would be to:

  • Keep the site as it is with hosting renewals
  • Design and Build a new site with our team
  • Move away from MadeByShape

You'd like to improve your current Wordpress website

We do have Web Developers in-house that will be able to implement changes and improvement to your existing Wordpress website. So if you're generally happy with your existing site but want some improvements, but not looking for a full redesign and build - this option sounds like the best for you.

You're interested in having a new and improved website

We have experience in Branding, Web Design and Development and SEO. So we can look at your existing site, and work together to create a new and improved site for your business.

We'd suggest getting in touch to let us know your thoughts on where you stand now, where you want to be - and that you'd like to discuss creating a new website with our team at MadeByShape. Just send us an email to: support@madebyshape.co.uk

Website and Mail Servers

We are currently in the process of reviewing the setup Forte Trinity has created. For now, we will be keeping everything where they are - and you will see no change. Over the coming months, we will keep all clients updated if there will be any changes made or suggest improvements.

Invoices in May

If your renewal falls in May, you will have already received an invoice from Forte Trinity, please ignore this, as we will issue a new invoice from MadeByShape Ltd.

Website design and development at Shape

With over a decade of experience in web design and development, it's safe to say we're pretty busy these days and our diaries tend to get booked up in advance. With that in mind, please just be aware that this may be an opportunity for existing Forte Trinity clients to reach out and get in touch to open the conversation - or arrange a meet and greet (over zoom or in person) so please just be patient if we do not respond immediately. However, we can promise it’ll be worth the wait!

Once again, I welcome you to our little family - and look forward to working together for many years to come.
